Standing over 11.5’ tall with a footprint of 10’x 10’ Centennial Reflection: Honoring a Century of sERvIcE - Was designed and created to commemorate first 100 years. I looked to create a sculpture inspired by the people, places and milestones that helped shape the company during that time. The piece includes reclaimed materials from the H.O. Hirt Building and design elements that reflect the companies journey over the last 100 years. Such as the Roman numeral C base for 100 years. The rising pillars representing the four pillars of the company , ascending in height for each quarter century. The copper and brass ribbons made up of 100 pieces helping to symbolize the flow of time. As well as the iconic copula representation as the focal point. It was an absolute honor to be chosen for this, in my home town, from a company we are all so proud of. Thank you for giving me this opportunity.
