Exciting update!

I’m currently working toward my large animal massage certification through Northwest School of Animal Massage and looking forward to bringing this into my practice in the coming months!

During my recent course, I visited Emerald City Pet Rescue’s Ghost Owl Farm Sanctuary, where I had the opportunity to work with one of the horses. It was a great experience getting to see the peaceful, safe home that these animals are given and the commitment to helping their individual needs.

The Electro-Acuscope and Electro-Myopulse are FDA approved instruments created originally for use on humans. This system has been used in physical therapy clinics, doctors’ offices, and hospitals throughout the country since 1976.
These instruments properly utilized by qualified therapists help to optimize traditional veterinary procedures to ensure a quicker recovery for the animal.

*The Acuscope and Myopulse therapy system is to be used in conjunction with proper veterinary care and should never be used to replace it.

Equine athletes encounter injuries in all disciplines. These injuries can inhibit our horses ability to perform competitively and can even lead to an “early retirement” in their performance career. Acute injuries that are not handled with correct and immediate care can become chronic. Issues that we may have considered “minor” can lead to serious complications.

The animal calibrated Electro-Acuscope and Myopulse Therapy system is used to treat many conditions in dogs and horses including

- Joint inflammation
- Bowed tendons
- Body soreness
- Muscle injuries
- Ligament injuries
- Muscles spasms
- Arthritic conditions
- Pinched nerves
- Fractures
- Accessed feet
- Ring bone
- Capped hocks
- Epilepsy
- Osteochondritis

Remarkable results have been obtained in the treatment of conditions thought to be life-threatening or crippling. These include

- Laminitis
- Wobblers syndrome
- Spinal damage
- Navicular problems
- Nerve paralysis
- Hip dysplasia
