UE Italian Exchange

A beautiful day in Florence.
This morning, the group had a nice continental breakfast and then went to the Uffizi Gallery to learn about history and art.

After that, they explored the city, touched the nose of the Porcellino (for good luck), visited Ponte Vecchio, and went to lunch at San Lorenzo. This is a neighborhood with a famous market (leather). In the afternoon they had yummy gelato, and went to the Accademia to see the original statue of David, more art, and musical instruments (Stradivari).

After Piazza Della Signora, Duomo, Battistero, and Campanile, some of the students did some shopping, and some went to the station to catch a bus for Piazzale Michelangelo (top of the hill with breath taking views of the city!!).

They all regrouped at the restaurant for dinner and then went back to the hotel.
Tonight, they pack to go to Rome tomorrow !!

Arrivederci Firenze!!

After a full day at school, students, parents, and teachers went to a lovely restaurant outside Varese for the farewell dinner. They had tons of appetizers, risotto, and pizza!

Tomorrow morning they say goodbye to their friends and go to Florence.
