If you have concerns about your child's speech or language skills, find a licensed speech therapist in your area. Depending on where you live, you may also qualify for speech therapy covered by your local regional center (if your child is under 3 years). So spread the word- speech therapy is FUN!

Play is much more than it seems🤫...
One of our favorite things about being speech-language pathologists is that our jobs are so much more than they appear to be. It may look like we are just on the floor with a child and having a TON of fun, but in reality, we are helping a child develop so many important skills. Research shows that children learn best through 🧸play🧸 and not to mention, it's so much fun for them too!

It is so important that families understand the impact they have on their child's speech therapy progress. Family involvement and support always plays a huge part in determining a client's prognosis. Carryover can only happen when children are practicing across settings, not just in the speech room.
