Got in a great SEALFIT workout today with my good friend Sean Lake, founder of BUBS Naturals.

The timing made it even more meaningful. This year marks 20 years of SEALFIT, and today also happens to be our friend Glen Doherty's birthday. Glen's life, character, and commitment to serving others continue to inspire so many of us.

One thing I've learned over the years is that training is always better with good people. You push a little harder, laugh a little more, and somehow the workout seems to go by a little faster... at least that's what we tell ourselves afterward.

Grateful for the friendships that have stood the test of time and for everyone who has been part of the SEALFIT journey over the past two decades.

Every Fourth of July reminds me that freedom comes with responsibility.

This year, as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of our nation's independence, it's worth remembering that freedom isn't only something that's given to us or protected for us. There's another kind of freedom that's earned every day through the choices we make.

The ability to stay calm when life gets chaotic. The discipline to do what you know is right instead of what feels easiest. The courage to live according to your values, even when no one is watching.

Those freedoms aren't guaranteed. They have to be practiced.

I've found that the more disciplined I become, the more freedom I experience. Not less. Discipline creates options. It creates confidence. It allows you to respond thoughtfully instead of reacting impulsively to whatever life throws your way.

As we commemorate 250 years of American independence, it's worth asking whether we're also becoming more independent from the habits, fears, and distractions that quietly limit us.

That's a different kind of freedom, but it's one that's available to all of us.

Enjoy the holiday, celebrate well, and remember that the greatest freedom you'll ever develop is the ability to lead yourself. 🇺🇸
