The DIY food sensitivity test is rarely the clear answer it promises to be.
One antibody on a panel doesn’t tell you how your whole body responds to a food. I’ve seen too many women end up scared of eating to stay quiet about this.
If this resonates, share it with someone living off a fear-based “do not eat” list.
Ducks in a row are overrated.
What I actually work on with my clients: using functional lab data to understand the underlying patterns that may be contributing to your symptoms, then building a plan that fits your real life (not a rigid one you’ll abandon by week two).
Side-questing is welcome here 🦆
If you’re a woman over 40 ready to work with someone who meets you where you are, save this and send me a message when you’re ready to talk.

If you’ve ever left an appointment feeling like no one asked the right questions, that’s exactly the gap I work in.
I want to know your symptoms in detail, yes.
But I also want to know whether we’re the right fit, and what actually changes in your life when you start feeling better.
Your symptoms aren’t random. They’re signals.
And the first visit is where we start connecting the dots.
📍Save this if it sounds like the kind of care you’ve been looking for.
Okay, but actually: I run functional lab testing (yes, including stool testing) to find the patterns contributing to bloating, fatigue, and symptoms your “normal” labs never explained.
If you’re a woman over 40 who’s done guessing and ready for real answers, you’re in the right place.

Waves were big, currents were strong, and the competition was fierce.
But it didn’t stop this kid from taking 3rd at NSSA Nationals this past weekend.
Couldn’t be more proud of him and this incredible accomplishment. We love you Luca Sinopoli 🙌🏻🎉🤍
I understand why people think the answer is to keep cutting foods.
When you feel sick every time you eat, removing things feels like the only lever you have.
But restriction without data just shrinks your plate and your life. It rarely gets to why your body is reacting in the first place.
That’s the work I do.
Using your symptoms and lab data to figure out what’s really going on, instead of guessing your way to a shorter and shorter list of safe foods.
Have you been carrying this belief too? Tell me in the comments.
I used to think feeling good came from doing more. More supplements, more rules, more pushing through.
Turns out a lot of it came from the thing I kept dismissing. Time outside, doing nothing in particular.
Your nervous system doesn’t know the difference between a packed inbox and a real threat.
It just knows you haven’t told it you’re safe in a while.
Sand under my feet, salt air, no agenda. That’s a signal of safety my body actually understands.
Now it’s the first thing I protect, and one of the first things I ask my clients about.
Because you can eat all the right foods and still feel off if your body never gets the message that it can rest.

Jokes aside, this is how a lot of women feel by the time they find me.
They’ve cut gluten, then dairy, then nightshades, then gone back to square one. Exhausted, eating fifteen “safe” foods, and still bloated.
Cutting foods can absolutely be part of the picture. But guessing your way through it, removing things one by one and hoping, usually creates more food fear than answers.
When we have actual data, like food sensitivity testing and a look at what’s happening in your gut, we can stop guessing and get specific about what your body is responding to.
That’s a very different experience than another round of trial and error.
