Boundaries are a guide upon which you clearly direct others to what feels open & expansive for you, and what feels closed & murky for you via clearly communicating, and expressing your needs, and values.

✨It is important to honor what does not feel comfortable in your system.✨

Even if you classify something as ‘small,’ you will bury it, suppress it, and it will build up over time until it starts getting louder, the signs start to show up way more, and the feeling starts to really be felt in your body expressing it greatly to where when you reflect, and honor it,
you have awareness realizing just how uncomfortable,
and completely ‘not okay’ a situation is.

No, you’re not too sensitive.
No, you’re not making it up.
No, you’re not exaggerating ‘making it bigger than what it is.’

Again, no matter ‘how small,’ it’s there right?

It still feels uncomfortable,
it still doesn’t feel okay, it still feels frustrating. Honor that feeling, and start to clearly, and lovingly express your needs, communicating your boundaries of what may enter your space, and what may now exit your space that is not welcome.

This is October 22nd, 2021, our first full day together in Sedona, AZ. 🏜
He had his first long car ride from Flagstaff, AZ 🌲 where we found each other on October 21st, 2021 the night before.

He was underneath the stairs at a hotel in Flagstaff. He mew-meowed to me,🐾 as I saw this little orange p**f a floof under the stairs, on my way to the room…full Mom mode ACTIVATED!!!
It was very cold that night, he stood warm in my Mommy vest that you see in the picture, close to my heart to keep him safe, loved, and warm.

If you see me carrying him a little over a year later, this may explain more as to why. 😸🧡

You changed my life forever, I love you with all my heart ✨

This simply means you are validating your own feelings by leading by example, being you, feeling what you feel, sharing when it feels safe for you - the true, raw, real you.

Your vulnerability supports them in validating their own feelings, experiences, emotions.

You are validating yourself in your shares,
so this is the ‘permission slip’ it offers them,
that it’s safe to share, it’s safe to feel, it’s safe to heal, it’s safe to express.

That again what they experienced is true, real, and validated.

As when many have experienced gaslighting, neglect, silent treatment, narcissistic abuse, emotional neglect & other types abuse often times people close up from sharing for many reasons.

Some being that they were isolated, invalidated, mocked, threatened, name called, silenced by the perpetrators.

They tried to break them down completely so they lose sense of self,
feeling insecure.

It was more safe to be silent.
It was safe to not share your feelings & experiences to survive whether ‘good,’ or ‘bad’ due to their reaction to your natural emotional response.
You didn’t share because when you did, it felt like you were walking on eggshells.
