Emory Volunteer Fire Department

While the Aspen Fire is burning in Colorado, we want to keep our community informed about the severity of this incident. The fire continues to grow by thousands of acres, creating extremely challenging conditions for firefighters and emergency personnel.

The Texas A&M Forest Service has deployed personnel to assist with wildfire suppression efforts. Please keep all first responders in your thoughts and prayers as they work tirelessly to protect lives, homes, and natural resources. We pray for their safety and for the fire to be brought under control as quickly as possible.

We also ask that you keep the families and communities affected in your prayers—especially those who have lost their homes, farmland, livestock, pets, or other cherished belongings. Wildfires have a devastating impact, and every prayer and show of support means a great deal.

Emory Fire is on scene of a second structure fire today. Please avoid the area!

We have a working structure fire on FM47 north of 276. Please avoid the area and use caution if you have to pass through. Watch for our first responders.
