After graduation, Victoria Whetstone will be joining Duke University Hospital in the Pediatric Cardiac Progressive Care Unit.
βOn the Pediatric Progressive Care Cardiac unit, Iβll be caring for children and supporting their recovery while working closely with the care team and families. Elon Nursing shaped me by building my confidence, clinical skills, and passion for compassionate, patient-centered care.β

π Externship Spotlight: Caitlin Kilroy π
This summer, Caitlin Kilroy is completing her externship at Duke University Hospital in the Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit!
βI am so excited to be spending my externship this summer at Duke University Hospital in the Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (PCICU)! Working with critically ill children and their families in such a specialized environment is an incredible opportunity to grow both personally and professionally. What has impacted me most throughout my journey has been the incredible faculty within Elon Nursing. Their constant encouragement, mentorship, and belief in me have helped shape not only my clinical skills, but also my confidence as a future nurse. I am so grateful for the experiences, support, and leadership opportunities Elon has given me, and I am beyond excited to continue learning alongside the amazing nurses and healthcare team at Duke.β
