Attended the Raymond Holiday Harvest market at the Raymond Gym on the Main Street of this small town in my district. Bierocks were my choice for lunch and Kent had the Frito chili. It was fun shopping for the unique and one of a kind handcrafted items.

Final large political Yard Signs went up this morning with five (5) days left until the election. Our handyman who promised to help with this task told us he had a family emergency three weeks ago and we have not heard back from him. Fortunately, our son Alex was willing to help this morning as it is a two person job.

Barton Community College hosted a Chamber After Hours to meet the new President. Dr. Marcus Garstecki joined the Barton Community College family as the sixth President in July 2024. Refreshments provided by INA Alert a local high tech start up business with a bright future. A Technology Solutions Company led by local Ellinwood native Nick Strecker.

Attended the First Annual Stafford County Natural Heritage Celebration. The event was held at Birdhouse.farm on the west edge of the City of Stafford. Birdhouse.farm is dedicated to deepening peoples appreciation of nature by fostering connections with the wild, promoting the natural beauty of Stafford County and enhancing local tourism to support economic development. Daniel Wallach hosted the event.

Attended the 2024 Little River Fall Festival which included a Car Show. I most enjoyed my visit to the Garden of Eden the local grocery store. The butcher on duty showed us the back room which had a giant door to the freezer and tracks still in place were after processing, a cow the meat was rolled into the freezer. David Nelson took over the grocery store and was lead singer entertaining those who gathered for this event. Small Town Strong people like David keep a community going!
