My birth name is Jamel, but when I go into my writers world I either go by ~ j'mel~ or j notes.

Just me living,

The notes,
That's my spoken word,
My mental work,
My goal to realizing,
Structure building,
Had to learn,
To put my mental first.
Feelings contained,
Learned to smile,
Even when my energy's drained.
Its best to single out,
Ya enemies name.
Let me give yall a touch of notes,
Just some things,
I'd thought I'll explain.
I know the difference,
Between friends and haters,
There's a reason to my silence,
Thats my brain and heart navigator.
I love unconditionally,
If I feel the love is officially.
I mean!
I know some are thirsty sharks,
Tryna find a Nemo,
My grind is relevant,
My thoughts are simplistic,
My hunger,
Can be a bit evil.
I mean!
I go hard for what I want,
Take chances when I love.
I know the taste of victory,
Know feeling of giving up.
It's the meaning of being fu**ed,
But sitting ya ass down,
Drawing a new picture up.
Life has a true meaning,
Some just hasn't learn to dig her up.
Never been the type,
To define by race,
We all bleed the same,
Walk and talk,
Sometimes make the same mistakes.
Only fake claim to be great,
But a humble individual,
Would break bread,
When they see others,
Eating corn flakes,
Grilled cheese and tomato soup,
A family of 5,
Sharing a can of peas.
My heart's heavy,
Some say,
I have no feelings,
But I'll give anyone the shirt off my back,
Treat a homeless man to Micky D's.
Far from perfect,
But got a beautiful outline.
Rather walk away from drama,
But take me for a fool,
Believe I'm breaking some rules.
