I went for a run today after church. I usually listen to something hi tempo, either rap or edm, but decided to leave on my gospel playlist.
Early on in my run, something very unusual happened. I wasn’t tired but felt heavy. I wasn’t in pain, but started crying. I’m not an emotional person. I haven’t cried in many years. All I can say is that God’s love is real and overwhelming. Afterwards I felt more free than I ever have. Like I could conquer any mountain!! These words were playing when it happened:
“Death could not hold You, the veil tore before You
You silenced the boast, of sin and grave
The heavens are roaring, the praise of Your glory
For You are raised to life again
