Intuitive Minds

As of 12/21/20 (next week), I will be increasing my hourly fee to $40 per hour. I really don't want to increase the fee but I have to do so to be able to continue tutoring and it be worth my while. I have come to realize that lesson planning for different subject areas in different grade levels requires more planning than a regular teacher. I've been spending 1-5 hours prepping for an hour session and it's very time consuming. I recently learned from a current English teacher that she herself works “for free” 12-18 hours per week lesson planning. Please appreciate your teachers and tutors, as there is a lot of work behind the scenes to deliver a lesson to a student in a way they are able to learn. I appreciate the opportunities I have been given to tutor all of my students so far.
