Bethany First Steps Childcare Center is looking to fill both full and part time positions within the center. Bethany First Steps is a small Christian center located in Bethany Lutheran Church in Elkhorn. Our focus is to provide high quality care and provide a strong Christian background to the children and families we serve. Each of our classrooms have no more than 10 children per room in order for you to spend quality time with each child and provide educational and engaging activities for them. We have a small team of great teachers who create a positive work environment.

Main duties of teachers include caring for children 6 weeks to 6 yrs old, creating educational and fun lesson plans alongside co-teacher, implement a circle time daily, be comfortable doing lessons planning. This position does require lifting up to 50 lbs. for diaper changing, be able to get on and off the floor, able to go outside in all weather conditions, communicate effectively with parents about their child's day, be able to work well and communicate well with other staff and most important have fun!

Applicants must be 19 years of age, have at least one years experience working in a child care setting, be available Monday-Friday anytime between 7:00-6:00, full time staff works 5 days a week, 9 hour shifts with an hour break. (Hours may vary depending on the children's and families schedules) and be able to pass a background check which includes fingerprinting. No nights or weekends!

Bethany First Steps Childcare Center is seeking one Full-time Floater.

Bethany First Steps is a small Christian center located in Bethany Lutheran Church in Elkhorn. Our focus is to provide high quality care and provide a strong Christian background to the children and families we serve. Each of our classrooms have no more than 10 children per room in order for you to spend quality time with each child and provide educational and engaging activities for them. We have a small team of great teachers who create a positive work environment.

Main duties of Floater include providing support for the younger aged classrooms, stepping into classrooms as needed and during lunch breaks, closing in our Toddler Room or Preschool Room, communicating with parents about their child's day. Must be flexible and able to move between a variety of age levels. Must be available Monday-Friday 9:00-6:00,must be at least 19 years of age and be able to pass a background check. No nights or weekends!
