Beautiful Dining set with all the cottage farmhouse charm!
This set includes a dining table with a gorgeous cutout center base and metal claw feet caps, the matching hutch (which is amazing!) and 5 lovely chairs that I actually had to hunt down to match this 1930’s set perfectly.
Its all been sanded down and painted in Annie Sloan chalk paint in a custom mix of grays and white to get this soft, neutral farmhouse finish. It was then neatly distressed to show through that pretty dark wood that matches the new finish on top. The paint was sealed with 2 coats of AS clear wax and then buffed for a nice sheen. The table top was sanded to perfection (by my helpful husband!) and stained a dark walnut color before being coated with multiple coats of Polyurethane. It has a durable finish to last for a lifetime of family meals!
The chair pads were reupholstered with a high quality upholstery fabric that was purposely picked out to not show any future spots very easily.
Everything about this set is just lovely to me!!

This beauty went to Trellis last night before I could get any pictures of it. It is a solid, spectacular piece complete with curved drawers, the original key, felt lined divided top drawers and a thick glass top cut to match the shape. The hardware is my absolute favorite ever! It’s a really great piece! My husband even said if he was in charge of decorating our house, he’d choose this buffet! : )

How cool is this hall tree? Finished in a charcoal color with Annie Sloan black wax over it, this piece was just perfect to transform all those lovely details into a dark, moody statement piece. It has a bit of a gothic period feel to it with those top finials and woodcarved details.

What a great way to jazz up a boring wall or entryway! It’s truly one of a kind.
