Congratulations to IB senior Laura Cardona for being awarded the U.S. Department of State Critical Language Scholarship to study Chinese at Tamkang University in New Taipei City, Taiwan! The CLS program has an acceptance rate of less than 10% and is one of the most prestigious and competitive scholarships and language programs for U.S. citizens. We’re so proud of you, Laura!

We are so proud of our students who participated in Elizabethtown College's School of Business “Pitch Perfect” event- a one-minute business pitch competition where students of all majors presented a business idea to pitch to investors, aiming to help reduce food waste in America.

Belle Brodbeck ’25, won first place for her pitch based on designing a product life cycle for cities. She proposed for food to be collected and transformed into fertilizer, to then be sold to grow more quality food products. Saki Takatsu ‘26 won second place for her incredible pitch and Billy Valdez ‘25 won second place with his wonderful ideas. All three are a part of our International Business Program!!

Two of our senior IB students, Colin Cummings and Laura Cardona, scored in the 97th percentile of the Major Field Test in Business this semester! The MFT is given every semester to thousands of business students in hundreds of colleges and universities throughout the country. Scoring in the top 3% nationwide is amazing! Congratulations Laura and Colin!
