I'm so proud of the Sila Breed and the dogs that came from our first litter. Oliver arrived in Washington State last week on Friday. His new family are absolutely happy with him. I'll share a few of the praises. We don't allow pups at 8 weeks to go to their new homes. They stay till 12 week and from there they goto their new families. Usually I don't like to keep pups past 5 months but, with these dogs I have been overly discerning in the selection of placement. Having such a rare breed that's new to America is a big responsibility. Oliver who's intuitive and just a wonderful specimen of this breed went to a small farm with chickens and Emu's. We are so proud of his transition Per Jessi we thank you for taking care of this wonderful boy and trusting us with your immediate need of coyote predation and selecting a Sila Shepherd

Remembering Lynn Meyer

The dog show community is heartbroken by the sudden passing of longtime AKC Executive Field Representative, respected breeder, and former professional handler Lynn Meyer.

Lynn dedicated her life to the sport of purebred dogs and was widely admired for her knowledge, professionalism, integrity, and unwavering commitment to exhibitors, breeders, handlers, and judges across the country. Throughout her career, she touched countless lives, both inside and outside the show ring, earning the respect and friendship of generations of dog fanciers.

Her loss will be deeply felt throughout the sport she loved so much.

Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with her husband, Michael Allway, her mother, Cindy Meyer, her brother Kent Meyer, and all of Lynn’s family, friends, and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.
