Your Holy Family

In light of recent events in western North Carolina I am sharing an article I wrote a few years back on suffering. It is a constant presence in life so what do we do with it and how do we help our family navigate it?

Understanding the Value of Suffering in Faith Trials and sufferings are a part of life, we can either take up our cross and follow Jesus or run from the cross and the Lord, the choice is ours. Jesus told us He is the way, the truth and the life and He offers to make our burdens light and to bring about good from our suffering.

You are cordially invited to attend a monthly potluck and rosary hosted by the Hebert family. The event will be held at our home which is near Reedy Creek Park in East Charlotte (just down the road from St. Thomas Aquinas).

This event is attended by families of all types and sizes, young adults, couples, deacons, priests and seminarians. No matter your state in life, you will most likely find someone to engage in conversation with, build community and enjoy some good food, play some fun games and pray an efficacious rosary for the intentions in your life and in the lives of the other attendees.

We have lots of activities such as basketball, volleyball, zip lines, a firepit, co****le and swings for both adults and children.
