Air Quality Alert for Today

The EPA and NWS have issued an Air Quality Alert until Midnight for the Chicago Metro Area, and all of Kane County and the Entire Fire District. along with higher levels of Ozone, Smoke from wildfires in Canada will be affecting our area today and tomorrow. This Alert may again be extended into tomorrow.
These Alerts are for Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups.

-Today: Hot 98 with Heat Indices around 100. Air Quality Alert for the Entire Fire District area Today.
-Tomorrow: Hot 98, more Humid with Heat Indices 100 to 105.
-Thursday: Hot 96 with Heat Indices around 100.

-Air Quality is Moderate (70) at this time and should move into the Unhealthy for Sensetive Groups (Over 100) later today.

Today there is an Air Quality Alert for the Entire Metro Chicago Area including all of Kane County until Midnight.
At this time the Air Quality is Moderate (70) but will be climbing above 100 to Unhealthy for Sensetive Groups.
