The Chicken Ranch

We’re up early this morning…The cowboys are at it as we begin separating and weaning our calves we raised this year from their mommas before it gets hot today! 🤠
Our littlest chick woke me up at 5 am, so I figured I’d go ahead and get an egg order ready for a pick up today. The girls sure are laying some amazing colors, I don’t know if they’re finally getting settled into their egg design or if it’s all the free range time they’ve been getting, but their eggs are beautiful! It reminds me of how God makes each of us unique in our own way, yet we are all the same inside. Be kind to one another and let’s find the beauty in ALL of His creatures 🤍🐓🥚

We’ve been using eggs this week practicing our math in the kitchen! Today we’re making a Gooey Butter Cake. We’ve never had it before, but it sounds really good! 🍰
