LOR Activities

April calendar is out. This month is filled with regular activities and some extras. We are continuing Tuesday and Thursday Bible Studies. On Tuesday the women are studying Elijah "Faith and Fire". Come and join us as we contemplate Elijah and the experience on Mount Carmel. Thursday is open to everyone. Season 2 "The Chosen" has just started. This is a wonderful series that portrays and teaches from the Gospel stories of Jesus' Life. Bible Study is in the clubhouse at 6 pm both nights. Wednesday Bingo at 6pm. Friday Friends at Five. Saturday Breakfast on April 9th at 9 am. Must sign up to receive a wristband for $4 per person. Come celebrate Easter with friends and neighbors at 2 pm April 17th. Must sign up and bring a side dish. Friday the 22nd after friends at five, stay a while and enjoy some Karaoke. On Saturday April 23rd at 5 pm, Burgers and Bonfire at the Pickleball firepit. Check times for Yoga because there will be change of day and time during the month. We have added a Lunch and Learn on Monday April 25th from 11 am - 1 pm to learn what volunteer opportunities await you! We have 8 non-profit organizations coming to speak to you. "Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much." Monday's are game time. Bring a game or pick a game from the clubhouse stash.

Looking forward to seeing lots of decorated golf carts at the clubhouse at 4, and hope you'll all join us at 6 for a Mardi Gras style potluck! Stop in throughout the day for a bit of homemade king cake, baked by Sandy also!

February is wrapping up and time to get ready for March. Today's Tech Talk is "RV Travel Industry" at 11 and Bingo tonight at 6. $2 a card to play for cash payouts. Thursday meet in the Fitness Center for yoga at 2:30, all levels of fitness are welcome. Thursday night Bible Study in the clubhouse at 6:30 pm, everyone is welcome to join in on the study and discussion. Friday Friends at Five. Bring your beverage of choice and an appetizer to share. Saturday morning join the coffee crew for home made King Cakes by Sandi. We will have King Cake throughout the day to share. 4 pm is the golf cart parade and a party following at 6 pm. Sign up in the activities book so we have a head count. Monday, join Peggy Shafer at 10 am for a cruise presentation. Game night play at 6 pm in clubhouse.

Upcoming activities: Thursday (2/17) Yoga in the fitness center at 2:30. DVD instructed so all levels of fitness are welcome. Thursday night Bible study at 6:30 in the clubhouse. Open to men and women with a video shown and then open discussion. Friday (2/18) is Friends at Five in the clubhouse. Bring your beverage of choice and an appetizer to share. Saturday (2/19) Breakfast 9 am Clubhouse. YOU MUST SIGN UP AND RECEIVE A WRISTBAND TO GET A PLATE. Sign up closes at end of day Thursday(2/17). Sunday (2/20) Women who wine! at 4 pm in the clubhouse. Bring your favorite wine to share. Cheese and Meat plates will be provided. Sign up in the clubhouse activities binder.

Casino bus trip to Imperial Palace Biloxie on Wednesday January 26th. Bus will leave here at 8am. Last day to sign up is Sunday January 23rd. Cost is $25 per person and receive $20 in casino play. Sign up sheet is located in the binder in the clubhouse.
