Join us for a sweet afternoon as Mills College Professor Emeritus Bert Gordon whisks us through the rich and sometimes surprising history of chocolate. This program made possible with the generous support of Friends of El Sobrante Library.

Come to El Sobrante Library for an all-ages family event on April 18th at 11am featuring performances of Balinese Dance and Music by Gamelan Sekar Jaya. Gamelan Sekar Jaya, based in Berkeley, fosters artistic exchange between Bali and the United States through performances and education. Come be dazzled by the performing arts of Bali and enjoy a dance lesson following the performance.

For families with children 0-12.

Come to El Sobrante Library with your preschool aged child(ren) beginning on February 13th at 10:30am, for one-on-one time with them to play with literacy building toys, games, and books! This program will continue on 2nd Fridays of the month from 10:30-11:30am, throughout 2026.
