A member of our flying family needs our help. Bernard started his aviation career with Continental Airlines as a flight attendant before moving to American Airlines. On Saturday, August 25th 2018 Bernard and his partners lives were turned upside down. Their beautiful home of years caught on fire after an unfortunate cooking accident. The condo was a complete loss leaving them with nothing but the clothes they had on their backs, along with a sweatshirt and tennis shoes from the crashpad. To make matters worse, Bernard's long time partner Bob is extremely ill. After a recent unsuccessful surgery, it was discovered his cancer cells had spread throughout his body.

Anyone you ask will tell you that Bernard is one of the most genuine and caring people you will ever meet. Our hopes are that our flying family can pull together and help Bernard find a temporary place to stay near Bob's medical treatments so they can spend their remaining time where they should be, together. If you live in the Vail/Avon, CO area and know of a room available for rent, that would also be a huge help!
