The Parent Compass

Loved my time speaking to GATE parents at El Segundo Unified School District last night. Thank you to asst principal and superintendents Emily Moran and Olivia Yaung for inviting me, and thank you to the parents who showed up and want to learn how to better support their kids when it comes to and . It was great to talk to a room full of such kind, open and thoughtful parents who are all trying to do their best.

And to be greeted with the message on the school door stating "in a world where you can be anything be kind," I think that's a great place to start.

Excited to speak to the middle school GATE parents at El Segundo Unified School District (ESUSD) schools later this month about how to support your teens study skills, time management and more while keeping their (and your!) mental health intact. Thank you for hosting me. It will be great to connect with your parent community in Southern California.

Here's the Indonesian edition of The Parent Compass in my hand! This has been a looooong time coming. Such fun to see translated into another language (Malay!). Thank you and for facilitating this acquisition transaction. It's so exciting to see our words and universal messages reach other countries.

How very exciting! We knew was translated into a few languages but now we have author copies of the Indonesian education. So happy to have this evergreen title helping parents of tweens and teens navigate these stressful and competitive years while keeping preserving and the parent/teen relationship at the forefront.
