DO MORE THING THAT SUCK

Nearly 80% of people admitted to abandoning their New Year’s resolutions by February every year, according to Forbes.

Confidence is more than something you were born with. It is something you can work on and improve over time.
The mind is a muscle, … The more you challenge yourself and overcome those challenges. The more your mind starts believing in you….

I may hate climbing on my bike….
Yet, I work on it
Not because I want to be the best climber in the world
I do it to build a strong mind
Too get better at something
I SUCK AT
I truly believe this helps me not only become a better climber but helps me stick with things when things get tough. Mind my has the strength to push through ….
I just focus on the view at the top and the gnarly descent ahead

In modern world is easy to find comfort in everything we do….
This is not always a bad thing but the more you practice being uncomfortable the better you get at it 😎

You too can build the confidence to stick with your goals.
The mental fortitude you need to be successful.
Just do more things that suck 😂 Oh and don’t forget to smile ;)

Dieting is different for everyone one!

The human body is complex and those they say they understand it fully are probably lying. Just one simple factor like what you eat is a rabbit hole I’d rather not get into

This is just my personal experience!!!

I had been fasting for years and even found it increased my focus for workouts.
Until one day I decided to hit the trails fasted and ended up riding way more than expected.

- I had a headache that lasted the rest of the day
- At a couple points My vision was foggy and I felt dizzy.
- performance was sub par to say the least

Being new to mountain biking and never training for more than maybe 90 minutes in the gym my body shut down!! I was hydrated and my body had no fuel to preform the tasks I was asking of it.

Now I’m not saying fasting is bad I’m just saying that going off into the mountains with just water and riding for miles and hours without any fuel in the tank is a bad ideas 🤷‍♂️😂

I still fast most days but on days that am going for a ride I don’t over eat, I try and stick with something light, that will give me energy and help me stay hydrated. I know gatorades not the best but it gets the job done and you can find it anywhere.

Don’t get fixed on current diet even it’s worked in the past. Simply adjust depending on what’s going on in your life. Same with working out. Have fun with it, listen to your body. That’s all folks 🐷

You don’t get old and stop playing, you stop playing and get old!

You try one more time…. Yet not matter how hard you try you just can not muster up the strength to climb far enough up the hill to play with your grandchild.

Must of use stop playing the day we left our grade school playground.

After the shut downs I have stepped back into coaching our Little ninja’s program.
These kids (Play/Work) harder than must adults.
Mainly because they are playing a game from the moment they walk into the studio.
No reps or sets
Just fun
There is a purpose and I have a couple baseline movements I am teaching them throughout the class.

One day after finishing up a ride I actually saw the above story about the old man that just wanted to play with his grandkids unfold at a steep hill at the park :(

This is why I PLAY hard ever chance I get weither its with my little ninja students or my puppies. I actually get into it and play with the intension to win (if not what the point 🤣)

Moral of the story is don’t let your age or society tell you that you have to stop playing just because you’re not a kid anymore

It’s never too late to get outside and dust off that old basketball or whatever you enjoy and have a little fun.
