I almost kept this one to myself.
Some images feel too sacred to release… like they were meant to live quietly, only for my eyes, only for my soul. This was one of them.
This is the new Cacique of the Ysleta del Sur Pueblo. Honored doesn’t even begin to cover what I felt taking his portrait.
Maybe that’s why this moment revealed itself the way it did. I NEEDED to do him justice.
His gentle, knowing smile… the way his hands rest on that cane… the light falling just right, casting a quiet shadow to the lower left as if it had intention of its own. Those hands, etched with time, feel like they’re telling stories all on their own. Every detail feels alive.
This photo took my breath away....
This is why I do this.
THIS is Why I HAVE to do this.
Photography isn’t just something I love… it’s something I can’t live without. And images like this, they don’t just fill me up… they set my soul on fire and satisfy this need for a little while....

The joy of La Nube shines through my photos—not because of me, but because it’s a place of natural wonder and beauty where families can explore and enjoy together. If you’re looking for a business marketing or corporate photographer, I’d love the opportunity to work with you. Feel free to message me for details. 📸

Driving over Trans Mountain the other day, music up, windows down, no plan, then the light hit. That kind of light that goes straight to your heart. I pulled over like a mad woman and had to capture it.
Completely alone, no pressure, just joy!!!
