🌶️ Belvidere Market Salsa Competition – Rules & Guidelines

Prizes
    •    🥇 1st Place: $100
    •    🥈 2nd Place: $50
    •    🥉 3rd Place: $25

Requirements for Each Participant
    1.    Ingredients List – must provide a full list of ingredients (for food safety and allergy purposes).
    2.    Quantity – minimum 16 oz per salsa. We recommend 32 oz (1 quart) for best exposure.
    3.    Number of Salsas – up to 2 different salsas per participant.
    4.    Container – bring salsa in disposable containers with serving spoon/ladle if possible.
    5.    Set-up – participants should arrive early to set up their salsa samples before judging begins.

    •    Flavor & balance
    •    Authenticity/creativity
    •    Presentation

Important Notes
    •    All salsas must be homemade.
    •    Please keep food at safe serving temperatures.
    •    Belvidere Market will provide sample cups and chips for tasting.
