Calling all Tooth Fairies!

Apparently, the Tooth Fairy forgot to put MuttLove on her route.

We currently have 8 dogs in need of dental care. Dental disease is painful, and untreated infections can affect much more than just their teeth. Healthy mouths mean happier, healthier dogs.

At an average of $230 per dog, we need just under $2,000 to cover everyone's dental work. Our goal is $2,500 so we can also have a little cushion in case one of these pups decides to throw us an unexpected curveball. (Because rescue always keeps us humble.)

Are you ready for a beautiful boy to enter your life and change it forever?? We introduce you to.... Balto and Nanook! Both of whom are looking for homes.

These boys are a little bit shy, and very sweet and gentle. Their favorite thing in the world is toys.

They are each looking for a home where they will be loved and spoiled and cherished and we think they deserve it.

Would you like to be introduced? Send us a message! ❤️❤️ If you would not like to be introduced, then at least share our post! And we won't tell the boys about the stinging rejection. 😭😤

Can we talk about the dogs who came back?

Because sometimes people assume that when a dog is returned, there's something wrong with them. That's not always true. Right now, we have several returned dogs still waiting for someone willing to give them a chance.

Tobey is paralyzed and cannot walk.
Deuce was born without front legs.

Popeye is...well... Popeye. He's exactly what you'd want in a companion. He's incredibly sweet, gentle, friendly, and loves everyone he meets. He's not food aggressive, dog aggressive, or people aggressive. He just wants affection and a family to call his own.

Rocky is still a bit skittish, much like he was when we first got him. New situations can make him nervous, and he does like to bark when he's unsure. That said, he's not aggressive and gets along well with other dogs. He simply needs someone willing to let him move at his own pace.

They're not perfect dogs. But then again, neither are we.

These dogs have already experienced losing a home once. They know what it's like to think they've found their person, only to find themselves starting over. Yet every day they continue to trust, continue to love, and continue to prove that a disability, a medical condition, or a return doesn't define their worth.

Special needs dogs are often overlooked because people assume they require more than they can give. Sometimes they do require a little extra. But they also prove every single day that happiness doesn't depend on having four perfect legs or a flawless past.

Tobey, Deuce, Popeye, and Rocky deserve homes just as much as any puppy who walks through our doors. They deserve couches. They deserve routines. They deserve families. Most of all, they deserve someone willing to see them for who they are instead of focusing on what makes them different.

If you've ever considered adopting a special needs dog, fostering, or simply learning more about one of these incredible pups, please reach out. Their first home didn't work out. We need to find them one that does.
