@calartscouncil I had an amazing experience spent in the presence of so many talented local artists of multiple modalities at @ichs.pioneersmuseum for the Creative Economy Town Hall Listening Session. The California Arts Council put forth several impactful areas of focus for bringing opportunities and income to artists in our community and communities all across California. I was honored to have the opportunity to passionately speak about topics which are so very important to me as a professional artist and art instructor. I was delighted to share the table with @caitlin_de_texas and @rd_media_films; two talented professionals and advocates in their fields. I had the amazing opportunity of working for and with them during the Pioneering Justice and VIVA Maze FSBN Art Campaigns. It was wonderful to see my FSBN artist friend @esteedits and the amazing @harlotheart_org along with the talented and kind advocate from NOCCA @arkroogs and several other artist acquaintances and friends. I am so grateful for having been able to share my story and struggles as an artist in this economy while sharing the ideas for improvement that we conflabed as a group at my table. Very helpful and powerful ideas were put forth. All of you know how passionate I am about my work. I look forward to new artistic opportunities and connections made with all the artists I spent time with today. Thank you so much to Hannah Jacobson Bloomenfeld for being so positive, kind and supportive.
