A Simpler Time - Alpacas & Mill

Rose finally gave birth today! We have been watching her for a month now as her due date was May 5th! She had a beautiful and very healthy 18lb baby girl. This is our second girl sired by X1. We are pretty pleased with the quality of his offspring!

Yesterday was a big day here at the ranch. As I was heading out to watch the hay truck headed our way out on the highway, I glanced down to the alpaca pens and saw Oreo had a baby! She is a first time mama. It is extra sweet seeing her with this very healthy baby boy since last year she had a miscarriage. She is such a good mama and seems very happy in her new role.
