This sweet boy letting me work with him post frenectomy 🤍 these are some of my favorite sessions with newborns, helping them pre & post tongue/cheek/lip release, latching with bottles or with mom, GI issues and releasing tension in the body.

Happy Saturday ✨ I hope everyone gets a reset during this holiday season.
And big shout out to this mama who is about to have her baby any day now. I’m always honored to be part of people’s care during many changes.

My love has his apraxia fundraiser walk coming up! First of many awareness and fundraiser walks in his life I would bet.
For those unfamiliar with childhood apraxia:
-it is a neurological disorder where the brain has a hard time sending signals to the mouth for speech
-it is lifelong & continual therapy is needed
-apraxia folks understand you, and know what they want to say back to you, however it can be incredibly hard for them to speak
From our experience, there is not a lot of access to apraxia informed therapists in the area, so this money is to help raise awareness, training & therapy for providers and families.
To donate, there is a link in my bio!
Aside from multiple sessions of speech therapy per week, Remy receives intraoral and external massage on the jaw, face and neck from me! This helps release muscles to assist his motor movement.
I will be offering free consultations & pediatric sessions for children with motor planning speech disorders until the end of the year! 💙 these sessions aim to help integrate bodywork to your child’s home therapy plan. Feel free to reach out.
