Congratulations to Beacon School’s 2025 - 2026 Teacher of the Year, Anne Taliaferro!

After teaching for 35+ years, Anne is retiring this year – finishing her career at Beacon School. We are thankful to be able to serve our community with Love & Generosity with opportunities like this. It was a joy to see and hear how much Anne is loved by her students and fellow staff when we presented her award this morning.

The Beacon School is Edmond’s first hybrid micro school! They are breaking the molds of traditional methodologies and giving their students a hands-on experience that creates a love for learning. Their teachers intentionally build strong connections with each student, creating classrooms where every child is seen, known, loved, and valued.

Congrats to all the students and staff recognized today, and happy retirement to Mrs. Taliaferro!
