The HOME in EKB Home says we are much more than just kitchens and baths. One example - here, we were tasked to design a master bedroom to fit this modern new construction home. We created the headboard wall with recessed lighting between the furniture finished panels set above upholstered panels. Flanking the bed we created free floating nightstands with pendant lighting. The stunning Moooi chandelier was placed above, and on the opposite wall we designed this beautiful quartzite wrapped fireplace. But nothing can beat that view! Imagine waking up here every morning… and you should see the sunsets!

Inspiration for a project can come from anywhere! Living in a land-locked OKC, our homeowner travels to remote locations throughout the world to partake in his love of scuba diving. When thinking about remodeling his Master Bathroom, it was only natural for him to want to bring one of his favorite island diving spots home. He brought in Edmond Kitchen & Bath LLC to create an elegant bathroom that captured the elements of the Caribbean with some of the colors and textures of the sand and the sea.

The palette fell into place with the natural quartzite countertop with ocean blues and sandy tans. We designed and built our floating vanities in a sandy, bleached wood with an accent of louvered shutter doors which gives the space an open airy feeling. A sculpted tub with a wave pattern was selected and set atop a bed of pebble stone beneath a wall of bamboo stone tile. We designed the tub ledge to provide comfortable access to bathing products.

The large format floor and shower tile we specified brings to mind the trademark creamy white sand-swept swirls of Caribbean beaches. The walk-in curbless shower we designed boasts three shower heads with a rain head, standard shower head, and a handheld wand near the bench toped in natural quartzite. Pebble stone finishes the floor off with an authentic nod to the beaches for the feet.

This project was selected by the design team at Kitchen and Bath Business magazine to appear on the cover of the publication with a multi-page spread within! Wonderful transformation for a wonderful client!
