The Grassroots Project VOICE Survey is now open through July 24, 2026

The Grassroots Project provides people with disabilities and their support networks access to tools, resources, information, and peer-to-peer networking to help ensure the perspectives, priorities, and preferences of disabled people are reflected in disability policies and service systems in their states and communities.

As part of the Grassroots Project's program evaluation, HSRI is inviting people with disabilities and their support networks to complete the Views on Organizing, Influence, and Coalition Engagement (VOICE) Survey. The survey asks about:

1. Knowledge and perceptions of advocacy
2. Advocacy actions you have taken or may take
3. Basic demographic information

✅ The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete.
✅️ All responses are private, confidential, and reported only in aggregate for program evaluation purposes.

☀️ Cooling Centers Open Wednesday, July 1

With high temperatures expected, Edison Township will open Cooling Centers for Edison residents only beginning Wednesday, July 1, from 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM.

📍 Locations:
• Minnie B. Veal Community Center – 1070 Grove Ave.
• Edison Main Library – 340 Plainfield Ave.
• Clara Barton Library – 141 Hoover Ave.

Please check in on elderly neighbors, young children, and anyone without reliable air conditioning. Stay cool, stay hydrated, and stay safe
