Today is the one day of the year when officers can openly admit they're responding to an emergency at the donut shop.

Whether it's answering calls, serving the community, or enjoying a well-earned donut, we're proud to work alongside you in serving the residents of Edinburgh.

In all seriousness, we appreciate our law enforcement partners and the great working relationship we share. Thank you for your dedication to keeping our community safe and for always being there when duty calls.

National Donut Day is celebrated on the first Friday of June and honors the Salvation Army volunteers who served donuts to soldiers during World War I.

Crews will be conducting live fire training today in an acquired structure with Trafalgar Fire Department.
