Everyday there are new e-scams targeted at stealing unsuspecting peoples money. Malware is a common infection that everyday home computers catch. Such malware can sometimes act as an "antivirus" protection application which tricks the user by running a fake antivirus scan and finding fake viruses. It then prompts the user to type in their credit card information leading to identity theft. Be very careful when downloading free antivirus's online!
Technology is rapidly changing. Every few months an upgrade is available to the newest and latest gadgets and machines. Microsoft has realeased it's preview to windows 8 which goes on sale Oct. 28 and is specifically designed to optimize touchscreen capable computers.
