Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 5+ years of experience with electrical systems


Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Electrical Journeyman/ Master license
• Ability to test, calibrate, diagnose, and repair devices such as Electrical Panels, Disconnects, Motors, Instrumentation
• Ability to Install/ Troubleshoot Motor Starters, VFD's, Motor Controls, Safety Switch, Instrumentation
• Ability to use a variety of electrician’s hand tools as well as measuring and testing instruments (Multimeter, Insulation Tester, Ground Resistance Tester)
• Demonstrable knowledge and/or understanding of codes, rules, regulations and standards of electrical equipment
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and reports
• Ability to fill out JSA, Provide detailed reports with test results
• Ability to use equipment such as 555 Bender, 535 Threader
• Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Schedule varies depending on site operational needs and flexibility required regarding frequent overtime/weekend support
• Ability to perform job duties that require standing, kneeling, crouching, twisting upper body, working in cramped positions in small opening and climbing hand over hand, lifting up to 25 lbs., and working on ladders/lifts at elevated heights
• Ability to work in an environment requiring FR Clothing, 40 Cal Arc Flash Suit, exposure to fumes, odors, and noise
