I've known Ted Dzus my entire life and grew up in his home town and the Dzus Fastner factory. Over the years he has built some first class street rods. What was really cool though for me was that his home was along my route that I skateboarded to my girlfriends house everyday while in High School and being able to see some these cars just sitting out in the driveway. Well long story short I would say this is absolutely the coolest by far! Always a fan of the Henry J but who ever dreamed of seeing one with a 572 Hemi stuffed into one. It was a pleasure and an honor to have been asked to be involved and to supply this 572 Hemi engine with our aluminum engine block to Ted. He has his work cut out for him to top this one and I'm sure there will be another.

New Project Alert! If you took a guess on the application of the @racetecpistons piston that we posted yesterday, then here is the answer: a 509ci W-Series Big Block Chevrolet!! We have wanted to do a full build on this platform for a while, and when @detroitmuscletv requested a spicy pump gas W-series for an upcoming car build, we didn’t mess around and immediately got this SICK all aluminum @billmitchellproducts 409 W-series block! It uses a lot of conventional BBC parts to open up bigger displacement options and can support A LOT more power than the OE blocks.
