Giving and receiving both carry more weight than we sometimes realize. It’s not just about what is being dropped off or picked up—it’s also about the spirit in which those moments happen. A little patience, kindness, and understanding can turn a simple interaction into something meaningful.

Every place that serves people has some kind of structure or flow to help things run smoothly. Those rhythms aren’t there to make things harder, but to make sure help can keep reaching as many families as possible in a consistent and fair way. When we pause long enough to understand that, the process tends to feel a little lighter for everyone involved.

At the heart of it all, it’s still about people helping people. And that’s something worth protecting.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for the opportunity to serve others in both giving and receiving. Help us to walk in patience, humility, and kindness in every interaction. Soften our hearts and remind us to see each other with grace. May this place always be one where love leads the way, and where every exchange reflects Your goodness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
