WAITING FOR WATER...

While their mothers and fathers are trying to make a living each day, the task of securing water for their families typically falls on the shoulders of very young children. Many times these children cannot attend school because of the enormous amount of time they spend in long lines waiting to bring home just a small amount of water...barely enough to last their family for one day!

The will spend most of the day traveling to and from the water collection site as well as waiting in long lines, only to return again the following day to do it all over again.

Visit our website at http://www.PondsForPeace.org/ for additional information about how you can make a significant impact of the lives of these children.

*****URGENT CALL FOR ASSISTANCE*****

*****SUPER TYPHOON HAIYAN*****

Please read this and share it with everyone you know, tell all of your friends and colleagues of the extreme urgency of this dire emergency situation!

At 5am this morning, the largest most powerful storm ever recorded on this planet, plowed into the tropical island country of the Philippines causing catastrophic damage well beyond the 90% range, tearing apart anything and everything in its path. The main storm surge made a direct hit on the Visayas Region of the Philippines where more than 25 million people are expected to be effected.

The storm body is greater than 500 miles in diameter and packing sustained winds in excess of 300kph! This is more than 4 times more powerful than Hurricane Katrina! Many of us remember how devastating Katrina was...can you even imagine a storm that is FOUR TIMES more powerful?

This is extremely serious and if you have ever wanted to do something meaningful, now is the time. Please do not just sit there and read this thinking that someone else will help them...please visit our website and see how you can make a contribution to assist these people!

WATER for the WORLD has already been identified and selected as a first responder. We have a large shipment of water on its way to the Philippines as we speak but more is needed. These people will have nothing as the storm passes. Their infrastructure is gone...water and food supplies are wiped out...homes demolished...the airport is damaged and it will be difficult even getting emergency supplies to these people. Please do not wait, time is of the essence and the time to act is now.

People can live without a structure such as a home...people can live for up to 30 days without food...BUT the average person can only survive for a very short six to seven days without water and in this tropical climate, that number can be reduced to less than five days...add to this the stressful situation these people are experiencing and experts say the length of time these people can survive without water many only be two to three days!

Visit our website at http://www.PondsForPeace.org and lend a hand helping humanity during the biggest crisis the earth has ever witnessed. Please donate today before more people loss their lives.

WILL THEY HAVE A FUTURE?

Many children today do not even have the hopes of a future. In 2012 more than 4 million people died due to water related illnesses and disease but there is sad news on the horizon as 2013 threatens to raise this number by more than ONE MILLION!

That's right...MORE THAN FIVE MILLION PEOPLE WILL HAVE DIED THIS YEAR JUST FROM WATER RELATED ILLNESSES AND DISEASE ALONE!

And of this number, more than half of these deaths were innocent young children. Before the year is out, more than 2 1/2 million children will have died because they did not have access to clean, safe water.

PLEASE...visit our website at http://www.PondsForPeace.org/ and remember these children this holiday season. Do something meaningful and smile, knowing you made a difference in someone's life!
