College of Arts and Letters - Michigan State University :: Speakers Dr. Suleiman is Assistant Professor of Arabic in MSU’s Department of Linguistics and Languages. She earned her Ph.D. from Georgetown University. Her research interest is in the area of language and identity in relation to gender, politicians' use of language in the media, and national identity.
