It is with profound sadness that we share the unexpected passing of our longtime friend and former staff member, Branden Friday.

For 13 years, Branden was more than just part of our team — he was part of our family. He brought laughter, dedication, kindness, and a presence that made a lasting impression on everyone who worked alongside him or walked through our doors.

To lose someone so suddenly, and at only 43 years old, is incredibly difficult to comprehend. So many of us shared years of memories with him, from busy days at work to the small everyday moments that now mean even more.

We know many former and present employees, families, and friends had the privilege of knowing Branden, and we wanted to share this heartbreaking news with the community that meant so much to him so we all have the opportunity to remember and honor him.

Our hearts are with his family, loved ones, and everyone grieving this tremendous loss. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 22nd from 3-9:00pm at James H. Cole Home for Funerals- NW Chapel located at 16100 Schaefer Hwy, Detroit.

The Funeral service will be held Saturday, May 23rd at 11:00am at Detroit Unity Temple located at 17505 2nd Avenue, Detroit.
