Day 290. These Teamsters Local 332 nurses are still on the line fighting for better patient care. They haven’t backed down, and neither has their solidarity. They have each other’s backs. I have theirs.

I stood with them then, and I stand with them now. Solidarity means showing up.

If there’s a powerful group that can help break through the division, it’s organized labor. Solidarity means something to me. Thank you to the members of UA Local 85 for inviting me to your cookout and giving me the opportunity to connect, listen, and talk about the future we can build together.
