If you are planning to take your electricity “to go” into the great outdoors via extension cords, use them safely. Inspect your extension cords to ensure that they are in good working condition, leave your ground pin in place, and plug major appliances directly into an outlet. Don’t ever daisy-chain extension cords (indoors or out), and make sure you are using an outdoor-rated cord. Stay safe, neighbors.

Lloyd here. Sometimes air enters our water lines – resulting in the spluttering and gurgling you might experience at the sink or when flushing the toilet. There are a few ways air can enter the pipes, including if ECU needs to cut off the flow of water through the water main for repair purposes. Or if you have plumbing repairs going on, your water heater is acting up, or if you experience a drop in water pressure. Let your faucets flow, flush the commodes, and all should return to normal.
