Dear Star Residents & Business Owners:

We are writing to inform you of an important event that will impact our community and businesses along State Street and Star Road. On Tuesday, April 30th, the procession for Ada County Sheriff’s Deputy Tobin Bolter will pass through Star on its way to the memorial service at the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa. The route of the procession will travel west from Eagle on State Street and turn south on Star Road to Chinden.

During this time, from approximately 12:30 to 14:30, businesses and residents whose only access is from State Street or Star Road will experience restricted access. The police es**rt accompanying the procession will be blocking roads, and volunteers from the community will be assisting by blocking driveways as the procession proceeds.

We kindly ask that you plan accordingly for this temporary disruption. Additionally, if possible, we invite you to join us in honoring Deputy Bolter by lining the route as the procession passes through Star.
