College bound, high level, high school athlete at risk of losing their scholarship due to repetitive right arm injuries came into my private practice for help.

The driver of the issues/ injuries/ pain wasn't any structural or biomechanical issue of the arm, it was the anger. The anger they held towards a few life experiences that had recently occurred. It was as though they carried around a clinched fist, ready to strike, but deeply knowing that lashing out wouldn't serve anyone. So they held it ALL in. Squeezing tightly, in order to obey, to follow the rules. You wouldn't see the tight fist in just everyday passing but the energy of the anger being carried through the right arm constricted blood flow, fatigued muscles, and ultimately weakened the arm causing pain, fatigue and making them more prone to injury.

Working to understand the anger, connecting the dots on how holding the anger in was actually driving the issues, and then teaching tools to release emotions (anger in this case) to allow for proper flow and function of the mind body systems and therefore enhance performance.

Off they go, signed and ready for the next level! Whoot whoot. So proud of the work they put into truly healing, from the inside out, allowing them to follow their dreams.
