Coyote Conscience

Who? 6-12 year olds
What? This club is for kids who love nature and want to spend more time outside with friends. We will go on hikes, learn about animals and plants including how to identify them, what to forage, how to follow animal tracks and more. All while playing games and listening to stories that engage their imagination. These activities aim to foster a deeper connection with nature, each other and ourselves. We strive to inspire a sense of stewardship towards the environment around us.

Why? To foster children’s physical and mental well-being. Outdoor play encourages creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork as they explore and learn together. Time in nature also helps reduce stress, boosts mood, and enhances their connection to the environment, nurturing a lifelong appreciation for the natural world.

Who we are? Coyote Conscience was founded by Maria Anderson, the lead instructor. She is Wilderness First Aid certified, a Montessori teacher working with children for over 20 years. She is passionate about sharing her love for nature and guiding others to not only learn about nature but build a relationship with the world around them.
