Frame Minnesota

Some pieces are worth more than framing—they’re worth reliving. 🎶
Long before packed venues and sold-out shows, these fans were following Trampled by Turtles from bar to bar, building memories one performance at a time. Along the way, they collected something truly special: an original handwritten lyric sheet, a photo with the band, and a signed CD cover—each one a reminder of a soundtrack that has been part of their lives for years.
When it came time to preserve those memories, we knew the design had to feel just as authentic.
An urban rustic frame perfectly reflects the band’s roots, while a Palomino mat creates a warm, understated backdrop. Then comes my favorite part—a bold reveal of Torii Tatami Red Silk. That rich silk liner makes a big statement, pulling your eye through the entire design and adding just the right amount of energy without taking away from the story.
It’s proof that sometimes one bold design choice is all it takes to make everything come alive.

Some gifts are beautiful.
Some gifts tell someone, “I know you.”
This customer found the perfect way to celebrate a second anniversary.
The traditional second anniversary gift is cotton. She could have chosen something ordinary…
Instead, she found a stunning Northwest-inspired cotton blanket that reflected everything her husband loves.
Rather than folding it away in a closet, she wanted it displayed as the work of art it truly is.
We preserved it using museum-quality techniques and quietly let the framing do its job. An understated frame allows the blanket—and the thought behind it—to remain the star.
Of course, a beautiful blanket draped over a couch or favorite chair is a wonderful anniversary gift too. But if the piece carries a story worth preserving, framing transforms it into something that can be enjoyed every single day.
The best gifts aren’t always the most expensive.
They’re the ones that say, “I see you. I know what you love.”
Happy Anniversary to a couple who reminds us that the most meaningful gifts begin with knowing someone’s heart. ❤️

Sometimes the hero of the story isn’t a dragon slayer.
Sometimes…
…it’s a beetle.
Meet Beets.
Created by the wonderfully imaginative author and illustrator William Hazzard, Beets is the unforgettable star of a children’s story that invites readers to slow down, look a little closer, and discover that even the smallest creatures have something to teach us.
It’s one of those rare stories that leaves you smiling… and somehow makes you appreciate bugs a little more than you did before.
When William came into the shop, he wasn’t looking for a frame.
He was looking for a forever home for the original artwork that started it all.
Original illustrations deserve more than decoration—they deserve protection worthy of the story they tell.
So we built this piece using museum-quality materials throughout.
An ornate Larson-Juhl Marais European gold moulding brings a timeless, storybook elegance. The richly textured Artique Linen Carbon mat creates dramatic depth, while the slightest reveal of Bainbridge Purple Torch Suede quietly echoes Beets’ royal purple armor without stealing the spotlight.
The result feels like something you’d discover hanging in the pages of an old fairy tale.
Stories have a remarkable way of changing how we see the world.
Sometimes they inspire courage.
Sometimes they spark curiosity.
And sometimes…
they make you see beauty in a little beetle you might have walked right past.
We’re honored that Beets will be protected for generations, ready to inspire every child who stops long enough to say,
“Tell me that story again.”
William, thank you for trusting us with the heart of your story. We wish you and Beets every success as this wonderful adventure finds its way into publication and into the hearts of children and families everywhere. We have a feeling this little beetle has a very big journey ahead of him. 🪲💜
