Free plants & garden items available at Crossroads Church in Eagan!

The Open Door's community garden at Crossroads Church in Eagan is wrapping up, and we're inviting gardeners and plant lovers to come help themselves to what's there before we close things out. This church has generously shared their space with us and our community, please help us honor that by being respectful, leaving no mess, and treating the site with care.

📍 Crossroads Church - 4100 Lexington Way, Eagan
⏳ Available until the end of June or until items run out

What's up for grabs:
🌿 Plants: daylilies, irises, oregano, chives, mullein, raspberries, grape vines, asparagus, catnip, dill, and mint
🪵 Fencing: outer fence and posts, gate, chicken wire, metal and plastic fencing, metal and wood fence posts

A few things to keep in mind:
- Bring your own shovels, buckets, tools, and wire cutters
- Only take plants from inside the garden and within about 2-3 feet surrounding it
- The plum and pear trees are staying, please leave those be
- Please bring a trash bag and pick up whatever trash you create

Say hello to our summer crew! Karen and Claire are officially on board to help keep our summertime programs running strong all season long.

🥩 Karen (Neighborhood Program Assistant) is a KU junior, youth soccer coach, and a big fan of a classic steak and potatoes dinner.
🍰 Claire (Mobile Lunchbox Coordinator) is an Elon junior, former Italy exchange student, and an avid lover of Caffe Latte’s turtle cake.

Next time you see them out at our sites, be sure to give them a warm wave!

Our Dakota County Northern Service Center Pop-Up Produce distribution is happening TOMORROW, June 9, from 3-6pm.
