Making rice bowls have been a great lesson in functionality. Keeping the form simple and comfortable while thinking about how those factors work to make food look more appetizing and inviting. It’s these kinds of things that I think about when I step into my studio.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! I just wanted to say how thankful I am to everyone who has supported chubby mug pottery. We are so grateful for everyone who buys something from us and all the positive energy we receive from those we have and have not met. We hope that our mugs will continue to find their way onto new shelves.

Another new color! Not as red as I hoped for but it’s got tons of character. Its just right for Christmas though!

Knowing that what I make on the wheel will end up on someone’s table is always a reminder to do what I do with love, care, and passion.
